Who I am

Alec Rounsaville is an independent insurance broker based in Illinois, National Producer Number 21010971. I am not an insurance company. Policies are issued and claims are paid by the insurance carrier named in your contract.

Not a government program

I am not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, the Social Security Administration, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or any state program. Nothing on this site is a government benefit.

How I am paid

You do not pay me directly. If you decide to take a policy, the insurance carrier pays me a commission, which is already built into the premium the carrier files with your state and is not added on top of it.

Where I am licensed

I can only transact insurance business in states where I hold an active license. As of the date above that is: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

About the products

Products, features, riders, benefit amounts and rates vary by carrier and by state and are not available in every state. All coverage is subject to underwriting approval and to the terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of the policy as actually issued. Some policies pay full benefits from the first day; others use a graded or modified benefit with a waiting period, typically two years, on death from natural causes. I will tell you which one you are being offered before you sign anything.

Any premium or benefit figure in my advertising or on this site is an illustration, not an offer or a guarantee. Your own rate depends on your age, sex, health, tobacco use, state and the carrier that ultimately approves you.
